Farol. Model S describes the shape of an S making it possible to be able to cut in the traditional way as
well as to slice a rope or mushrooms with the concave part of the edge. The edge was hardened with a
selective hardening with oil. The handle is sheathed in the traditional braiding of the navy, which is a first
for a clasp knife. This knife is very light due to the simple and clever locking system we have invented. A
simple straight spring lock keeps the blade in the open position and a simple pressure of you thumb
releases the blade back into the closed position. The Model S is a unique knife with a nautical
background. It has an exotic Ipe Wood handle which is a a hard wood from South America decorated with
delicate white and pink graining. 12c27 Polished Stainless Steel blade, hand sharpened and polished. The
spring clasp secures the knife in the open position. Model S is a sure and reliable knife and would make
an interesting and unique addition to any collection. Handcrafted!

place while you are working with it. Brass rivets represent the eyes of the cachalot. The knife handle is
comprised of one one solid piece of exotic Apricot wood and is chosen to lend itself to the whale shape.
Apricot wood is a hard wooded fruit tree, Honey coloured with some dark graining. The mouth is drawn by
the cutler freehand. A must have for every fisherman in your life or collector of unique and finely made
